From Canada, Francis arrived in Ukraine the first week of march 2022, fighing alongside the National Guard in Irpin and Izyum, before joining the ILDU DIU in September 2022.

Director
Ukrainian Canadian currently working in the NGO sector of Humanitarian Mine Clearance and Explosive Remnants of War Disposal in deoccupied territories of Ukraine.
Olena’s background is in Quantum Physics, Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence.
HURTz
Chief Engineer
HURTz, a Canadian FPV drone builder, HAM and licensed pilot. A former visual effects artist and filmmaker, he moved to Ukraine in 2024 to volunteer as an FPV pilot instructor for the 25th Airborne Brigade.
He has engineered fiber optic drones, designed custom battery mounts for DOF bombers, developing fixed-wing bomber components, and is currently creating ISR and Shahed interceptors for air defense.
HURTz recently obtained his Ukrainian residency.
